A letter from Sullivan Vineyards
An e-letter from Sullivan Vineyards I wanted share -- because we are all . . .
Dear Lee,
As you have probably heard, the Napa Valley and several of our neighboring areas have been affected by numerous fires. Many people have suffered losses of their homes, their businesses, and most sadly, their loved ones. Our hearts go out to them and they are in our thoughts and prayers. Our family and the Sullivan Vineyards team is safe, and for that we couldn't be more grateful. We are extremely fortunate to have such devoted and hardworking first responders, firefighters, our police and sheriff departments and the California Highway Patrol. Help is coming in from all over the country and the state, but also from other parts of the world. We desperately need that assistance and, again, we are so grateful. The situation is gradually improving and the Napa Valley community will continue to come together to help one another. We will rebuild, replant, and do whatever needs to be done.
We appreciate all of you who have reached out with your concern and offers to help at this crucial time. The good news is our 2017 vintage is in tank and the winery has power and is currently out of harm's way and we have 2014, 2015, and 2016 vintages to offer. The bad news is this situation is still tenuous and far from over. We remain concerned not only for what the next few days will bring, but also for the foreseeable future. The cleanup will last months if not years and everyone of us has been affected or been displaced from work or home.
Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers and we will continue to make the great wines you love!
All our best and thank you for your continued support,
Perfectly stated -- our hearts and thoughts are with the beautiful California wine country.
Xo ~ Lee
